Ink & Share Bloghop: Annual Catalogue

Hello and welcome to our monthly blog hop episode! This month, we are featuring items from the new Annual Catalogue. If you haven't seen the new catalogue yet, you're in for a treat! It is chock-full of awesome new products, and it'll be out on June 1st! To further pique your interest, come hop along with my fellow talented demonstrators and have a sneak peek at some of our amazing new products in action.

For my project, I am going to feature our new Four Petal Punch paired with the Garden Impressions DSP to make a cute flower basket. This was actually my display board 3D project for OnStage in Red Deer last April, and I thought I'd share with you how I created this project.

A. THE FLOWERS:
  • I punched out the flowers using the Four Petal punch and the Garden Impressions DSP. The center of the flowers is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set and I gold heat embossed it, then topped with a gold sequin right in the middle.

  • I punched out 3/4" circles from scrap cardstock and threaded these through craft wire stems. This is how I glued my flowers to the wires.
  • The flowers were then just arranged on a piece of trimmed out sponge to fit the basket.
B. THE BASKET
  • I started with a piece of cardstock measuring 7x7.

  • Here's the template for my basket. Video tutorial for the basket also down below. Unfortunately my footage got cut right near the end. For a final touch I covered my seams with Early Espresso cardstock strips and then added layered die cut butterflies in Gold foil sheet and Basic Black using the Springtime Impressions thinlits.

Well thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope to see you next time! Do continue hopping along and look at all the beautiful projects of my fellow demonstrators. Happy crafting! Cheers!
