Another One for Amazing You

As we near the end of Sale-a-bration, I wanted to do another card with the beautiful stamp set Amazing You and use the coordinating dies which I'm happy to say, will be carried-over in the Annual Catalogue. Yay! If you still haven't gotten your hands on these amazing products, you have til end of March to get them for free, so hurry!
For my card today, I wanted to color in my flowers. I wanted quick and no fuss coloring, with no shading needed (I was feeling lazy!), so I opted to use my Aqua Painter and Night of Navy ink refill. I started with stamping my flowers on a piece of Soft Sky cardstock with my Versamark ink, followed by silver heat-embossing. Then it's just quickly applying tiny bits of color from the center of my flowers followed by a quick wash of water to blend my ink...instant shading! Super quick and simple, and I just love the results!
After coloring, I just fussy-cut my flowers. And since I already had my snips out, I moved on to fussy-cutting the leaves on the beautiful Springtime Foils DSP (also a SAB item!). I only needed a few so it was not too bad to cut them out by hand.
I then moved on to die-cutting. First I die-cut a stitched circle piece of Soft Sky cardstock using the Stitched Shapes Framelit dies, and then the word Celebrate in Night of Navy using the Celebrate You thinlit dies (also a SAB item!). Next is just putting all my pieces together.
I sponged around my circle die-cut with my Night of Navy ink pad, arranged my flowers and my sentiment on top of it, and then added the leaves behind it. I wrapped a piece of Silver ribbon around my piece of Soft Sky cardstock (4 x 5 1/4") before adhering my whole flower cluster piece onto it. Next, I stamped the 'YOU' using my Night of Navy ink pad. I added a layering piece of Night of Navy cardstock (4 1/8 x 5 3/8") and used an A2 size piece of Whisper White cardstock for my card base. Finally I just scattered a few Rhinestone Jewels and used my Wink of Stella on the flowers and sentiment for a bit of shimmer.
This is my card for today, I hope you liked it! Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you next time!
